Welcome to Music as a Second Language.
We offer a group program that teaches the creative side of music. Students learn to come up with their own musical ideas and freely express themselves on their instruments. They develop skills such as creativity, confidence, and self-esteem while jamming to their favourite songs. After taking a course with us, students never look at their instruments the same way again.
Music as a Second Language is an after-school program open to middle and high school students in Toronto. Our studio is located at 842 Yonge Street, just north of Yonge and Bloor. The program is available to all instruments including piano, saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone, violin, viola, cello, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, double bass, electric bass, drums, and voice. At least one year of prior experience on one’s instrument is necessary before taking the program.
